About my work

Sarita Mann Design Studio is rolling into its third year. Along the way many of my retailers have become close friends of mine and I hope to foster many more. In this short time I’ve created over 100 greetings and recently added box sets, art prints and gift tags. I’m always looking to expand my product line to keep things fresh for you and me, so here’s to doing just that. 

When I started designing my stationery I wanted to create greetings that shared a feeling, used a tonne of colour and were playful and fun. I’d like to think in doing so there is a unique card for everyone.

All of the paper products are printed locally in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Using high quality FSC-certified paper stocks and environmentally responsible printing methods because sustainable practices are as important as the designs.

This year I put together a Kickstarter campaign to help get me to the National Stationery Show in NYC. Although I wasn’t able to reach my crowdfunding goal, I learned a few things and gained a tonne of support. I received positive press to help promote my efforts, not to mention my campaign was shared over 400 times on Facebook. 

I had a great first show, exhibiting my stationery in the #fresh section of NSS at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. New friendships were forged with paper lovers like myself and I can’t wait to see them all next year at NSS and NY NOW. I used the 3 minute promotional video at the show and it proved to be the perfect ice breaker with lots of laughs.

Commissions and Graphic design services are also offered. Collaboration is something I instantly gravitate towards because I find the exchange of ideas exciting. This has allowed me to work on small graphic design projects for clients in Vancouver. Let me help you realize your ideas in print.

Education: I have a background in Architecture from Dalhousie University and Visual Art & Biological Sciences from Simon Fraser University.
